Terry Douglas Floyd, 61, of Greenup, died Thursday morning, December 18, 2008, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Born December 30, 1946, in Portsmouth to the late Albert and Alice May Greene Floyd, he had worked as an engineer for American Commercial Barge Lines at Cincinnati, Ohio, for more than 24 years. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include two sons, Joshua Floyd of Greenup and Brian Floyd of Portsmouth; and three grandchildren.
Services were Saturday, December 20, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Rev. Nelson Evans officiating. Burial was at Greene Cemetery at St. Paul. Military Graveside Rites were provided by the VFW Monte Lewis Stamm Post 5438 of Vanceburg.
