Freddy Ireland, Air Lines Official, Dies
Freddy Lee Ireland, 516 E. Cheyenne Blvd., died Saturday, Apr 28, at age 31 at a local hospital.
He was station manager of Central Airlines and has been a Colorado Springs resident since last February.
He was with Central Airlines at Wichita from 1954 to 1956
and at Fort Worth from 1957 to 1962.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Ireland was born in Hereford, Tex. Dec. 7, 1930.
He attended Fort Worth schools and was graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1949.
He was married in 1954.
His wife, Mrs. Marilyn Ireland of Colorado Springs, survives him.
He is also survived by two daughters, Vicki Lynn and Laurie Kay Ireland, both of Colorado Springs;
his mother, Mrs. A. P. Chestnut, Fort Worth; his father, J. B. Ireland, Shallowater, Tex.;
a brother, Bill Ireland, Shallowater, and a sister, Mrs. Carol McFaul, San Bernadino, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Law Drawing Room.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
