A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2020 for Mrs. Lucy Mabel Carnahan Patterson, at Beaumont Cemetery. Mrs. Patterson passed from this life on April 29, 2020 at Perry County General Hospital. Bro. Sammy Napier and Bro. Jim Slowey will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Leon Small, Fred Roman, Lane Bolar, James Boutwell, Jeff Windham, Allan Small and Donnie McDonald as alternate. Honorary pallbearers will be Red Fairley and Tommy J. Fairley.
Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her first husband, Rusty Carnahan; parents, Jesse and Lena Fairley; and second husband, Vernon Ray Patterson. She is survived by her sons, Dale (Sherri) Carnahan of Beaumont, Randall (Trish) Carnahan of Crystal Springs; grandsons, Joshua (Sara) Carnahan of Richton, Evan Carnahan of Florence, Sean Carnahan of Beaumont, Caleb Bridges of California; step-grandchildren, Christopher Rhodes of Crystal Springs, Amanda Rhodes of Crystal Springs, Brandon Rhodes of Crystal Springs; 7 great-grandchildren.
She was a lifelong resident of Beaumont and a faithful member of the Beaumont United Methodist Church. She worked as a unit clerk at Forrest General Hospital for 10 years
