BODIES OF RULE BROTHERS ENROUTE HOME FOR BURIAL RULE; Dec 9 - Bodies of T Sgt Carl T Hunt and Pfc James R hunt, sons of Mr and Mrs R T Hunt of Rule, are being returned for reburial, according to information the parents received from the Army

Carl was born Nov 14, 1917 near Rule. He entered the Army February 12, 1941, and received basic training at Camp Bowie with the 38th Division. After being transferred to the Air Corps for training at Sheppard Field, Wichita Falls before going overseas in August 1943. He was killed in a plane crash at Kharagpur Base, India, Nov 13, 1944

James, who was killed in action in Germany, March 24, 1945, was born Oct 3, 1923, near Rule. He joined the Army March 3, 1943 and trained at Camp Robinson, Little Rock, Ark. before going over seas in September, 1943. He was posthumously awarded the Silver Star.

Survivors include the parents, five brothers and four sisters.
