2nd wife: (Mrs) ANNA MARY (nee RIDENOUR) MARTIN, a widow - b. Nov. 1823 - d. 25 June 1909, d/o Martin & Elizabeth (Leffler) Ridenour.

John and Anna Mary's only child died in infancy. He and both wives are buried in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery (also known as Fletcher Cemetery) in Perry twp. Allen Co. Ohio
