She was a member of East Winnfield Baptist Church.
Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the chapel of Southern Funeral Home in Winfield with revs. Kenneth Wall and Fred Keyes, officiating.
Burial followed at Union Cemetery near Joyce.
Survivors in addition to her son from Jena include two daughters, Wauniece Thomas and Laverne Jordan, both of Winnfield and another son, J. I. Cockerham of West Monroe; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
