Busby, 69, died at 7 a.m. Monday, January 11, 1982 in his residence. He was a retired service station owner.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. A. C. Busby; one son, A. C. Busby, Jr., of Winnfield; two daughters, Jo Ellen Cox of Winnfield and Elizabeth Ann Parker of Sikes; one brother, Turner [sic Luther] Busby of Winnfield; and seven grandchildren.
Among those out of town relatives who were able to attend the funeral Tuesday, January 12, of Aaron C. Busby were Mrs. Gertrude Lee of San Antonio, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Baker of Jacksonville, Texas; and William O. Busby, Jr. of Ruston. Many other relatives and friends called to report closed roads and ice covered roads prevented their arrival.
