Mrs. Robert Hammer, 85, nee Rose Bebula, of Rt. 4, Box 96, Beaver Dam, died on Saturday, Jan. 17 at Hillside Community Hospital, following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 9:30 a.m. from the Murray Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peter Catholic Church. Rev. Joseph S. Stier will officiate and interment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. Hammer was born on August 26, 1890 in the Township of Calamus, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bebula. She married Robert Hammer on June 4, 1917. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Christian Mothers.
Survivors are three sons, Francis of Milwaukee; Stanley of Beaver Dam and Robert of Oregon; one daughter, Bernice Hammer of Juneau; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Alvina Krueger of King, Wis.; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one son, one daughter, one brother and five sisters.
Friends may call at the Murray Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today. A parish vigil will be said at 8 tonight, and a Christian Mothers vigil at 7:30 p.m.
