She is survived by her husband of 49 years, C. Roger Bissell Sr. of the home; six children, James M. Bissell, Tammy L. Bissell, Bridget D. Bissell, Virginia "Gina" Davis, Shawn D. (Kelly) Bissell and Charles Roger Bissell Jr.; 20 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, David Hamill and Charley Hamill; one sister, Beverly Lacy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Melvin Hamill Sr. and Pearl Mattox Hamill; two brothers, Leo Hamill and Charles Melvin Hamill Jr.; and one sister, Barbara Pearson.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at William Thompson and Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Roseville, where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Pastor Jerry Sutton will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
