Son of William Henry Anderson and Eliza Sparrow

John Thomas Anderson was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as here recorded, On August 1, 1898, Town or Branch, Eastwood Notts-Kingdom. England. Baptized by, Stephen Parks and confirmed the same day by Benjamin Shaw: J. W. Stringfellor was Branch President. Noah A Larsen who holds the office of High Priest ordained me, John T. Anderson an Elder on December 29, 1935. E. Anderson ordained me, John T. Anderson a High Priest on June 12. 1944. My father whose real name was William Henry Needham, changed his name before marriage,I was born, June 15. 1888. In the town of Hucknall Torkard Nottingham shire, England. I was graduated from the district schools of England at the age of twelve. That same year 1900 I left England for the United States along with a Mormon Missionary, by the name of George Pierce of Montpelier, Idaho, and leaving Liverpool, England on November 29, 1900 on the steamship Commonwealth, of the Dominion line. I arrived at Boston, Massachusetts, and USA on December 7, 1900. Then across the country to Montpelier, Idaho and then from there to Star Valley, Wyoming, traveling with the mail carrier in a four horse team and canvas covered bob sleigh
