Arkless Abercrombie Succumbs at Age 83
Arkless Abercrombie, 83, retired farmer, died Sunday night, Sept 7, at St. Elizabeth hospital, Covington, after a short illness.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Loraine Wainscott Abercrombie of Covington; a daughter, Mrs. Lucy Pennington of Covington, with whom he made his home in recent years; five sons, Virgil Abercrombie, U.S. Army, stationed in Mass., Orvil Abercrombie of Walton, Clyde Abercrombie of Covington, Dillen Abercrombie of Independence and Ransdall of Norwood, Ohio; and 13 grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday afternoon under the direction of Eckler funeral home at Antioch Church of Christ, Keefer, with burial in the church cemetery.
