Services Here Thursday For C. A. McMichael

Services for Carson A. McMichael, 72, of Bradenton, Fla., former Arlington resident, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Moster and Sons Mortuary with burial in Arlington East Hill Cemetery.

Mr. McMichael, whose home was at 311 51st Avenue Terrace West in Bradenton, died at 3:30 a.m. Monday in Manatee Memorial Hospital there after a brief illness.

He was a retired self-employed carpenter and contractor, and spent all of his life in the Arlington community before he and Mrs. McMichael moved to Florida last September. He attended old School No. 9 in Posey Township and also the Arlington School.

A charter member of the Arlington Lions Club, Mr. McMichael had a perfect attendance there for 20 years. He still is a member of the club.

The son of Albert and Phoebe Coffin McMichael, he was born in Posey Township on October 23, 1899, and was married November 26, 1919, to Carrie Alexander, who survives. Mrs. McMichael recently underwent surgery in the same Bradenton hospital but was scheduled to be released today.

Surviving with the widow are a son, Forrest (Bill) McMichael of Gainesville, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Leverett (June) Chrisman of Belvidere, Ill.; a brother, Loren, of Connersville; a sister, Mrs. D. C. (Edna) Dooley of Anderson, nine grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A son, Carson Jean, a brother and two sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
