Mrs. Garred died Sunday in a local nursing home. She was born Jan. 20, 1882, in Wolf Lake, Ind., and had lived here since 1924.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Women's Society of the church, and the Handy Homemakers Extension Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marian Hall of Colorado Springs; a son, Jesse Garred of Lakewood; a brother, Bonford Fair, Bradenton, Fla.p a sister, Mrs. Eula Manier, Southfield, Mich.; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
