Dominic Arnone, 85, died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday (March 11,
2008) at Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. He was born Jan. 2, 1923 in Punxsutawney, Pa., a son of
the late Salvatore and Stella Boscarino Arnone, and served
in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1944. He had been a cook at
several area restaurants, including the Hotel Jamestown
and the Town Club, and in former years greatly enjoyed
travel. Dominic is survived by a
sister, Emma Swan and two brothers: Paul and Charles Ar-
none, all of Jamestown; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by
two brothers: Joseph and Anthony Arnone.
