Betty Rose Sanders Pinkerton, age 86, passed away at the Golden Living Center in Eupora on March 13, 2009. Mrs. Pinkerton was the former secretary for Dr. Charles Ozborn. The funeral service will be Sunday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at the Maben United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Maben Memorial Gardens. The services will be conducted by Rev. Randle Poss. Mrs. Pinkerton is survived by one son, David E. Pinkerton of Starkville; one daughter, Bonnie Pinkerton Scott of Mantee; and one sister, Mary Sanders Meador of Laurel; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorcy M. Pinkerton; son, Danny Pinkerton; two brothers, E.H. Sanders, Jr. and Charles Sanders.
