Word came to us today of the death of Ollie Hartman at his home in Rupert, Idaho last Tuesday at 8:00 p.m.
Mr Hartman has been ill for a long time suffering from heart trouble and rheumatism. Mr Hartman is well known in Star Valley, having lived here for many years on his ranch this side of Smoot. He moved to Rupert several years ago.
Funeral services will be held in Rupert Friday and the body will be buried in Providence, Utah.

The following article is taken from a Rupert, Idaho paper.
Funeral services for A. Hartman, 72, who died Tuesday of last week at the home of his son Walter a. Hartman, were conducted Sunday morning at the Goodman chapel at 10 o'clock with Bishop David G. Hyde officiating. Following the service the body was taken by the Goodman funeral car to Providence, Utah for burial next to his mother int he Providence cemetery. The funeral train was accompanied by Mr and Mrs LeRoy mcLane and Mrs sam Schorzman.
Speakers for the service here were Thomas Blacker and Bishop Hyde. Music was given by a mixed quartet, Mr and Mrs geofge Catmull Eugena Humphries and Mrs Roy Humphries.
Mr Hartman was born April 29, 1887 at Providence, Utah. He lived there and at Malad in his early life. He was twice married. He married his second wife, Florence McLane, in Afton Wyo., in 1903. She died there three years ago.
Two children were born to each marriage. By his first wife, a son, Charles Hartman, Garland, Utah, and a daughter, Catherine Finn, Ogden, and by his second wife a son, W.A. Hartman of Rupert and a daughter, Mrs Sam Schorzman of Fort Peck, Montana, LeRoy McLane of Rupert was a step-son. All those named were here. Besides his sons and daughters, 23 grandchildren survive .
Mr Hartman came to Rupert September 18, 1938 and made his home with his son W.A. Hartman.
