Sam Duvall, 77, died at the Grayson County War Memorial Hospital on Monday at 9:00 a.m. He had been in the hospital since Friday and was quite ill when moved to the hospital from his home. Immediate cause of death was a heart attack./A retired farmer of the Sadler community, Mr. Duvall had lived in Leitchfield the past 14 years. Born September 12, 1875, in Grayson County, he was a son of Julian and Mary McClure Duvall./Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Beulah Garret Duvall; six sons: Willard and Ernest Duvall, of Illinois; Sam Duvall, of Florida; Earl and Randolph Duvall of Louisville, and Tommy Duvall of Leithchfield: five daugheters, Mrs. Leona McClure, Mrs. W.T. Byrant and Mrs. Richard Givan, all of Louisville; Mrs. Ed West and Miss Mary Alice DUvall, of Leitchfield: two brothers, Willard and Dudd Duvall, both of Leitchfield, and four sisters, Mrs. Asa Nugent, Mrs. Lee House and Mrs. Will Duvall, all of Leitchfield, and Mrs. Senate Willis, of Louisville./Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at New Harmony Church near Sadler, by Rev. Jim Blair. Intermnet was at New Harmony Cemetery under the direction of Tom S. Ellis.
