He was 86, and died at the Arizona Pioneers' Home in Prescott. He came to Arizona Territory in 1879 and became a member of the Arizona Bar on JUan. 17, 1898. He later practiced law in Globe.

Online death certificate.∼Thomas’ profession was attorney at law. He married Anna Margaret Craig on Oct. 16, 1894 in Montour Co., Pennsylvania, USA. Anna was born abt 1871, and her father's name is Oscar Craig. Thomas died from gangrene in his left leg; he was then living in the Arizona Pioneers’ Home in Prescott. He was buried in the Mt. View Cemetery, Prescott Valley, Arizona, according to his death certificate. The cemetery name may have been changed to Prescott National Cemetery.
