Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Friday, April 3, 1987 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.
OBITUARY: Victor Dadey
Victor August Dadey, the son of William and Anna (Hankel) Dadey, was born at Bradshaw, Nebraska, o June 7, 1906, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on March 31, 1987, at the age of 80 years, 9 months, and 24 days.
He grew up at Hampton and Aurora, and attended Aurora High School.
On August 18, 1931, he was united in marriage to Alma Matthes at the Zion Lutheran Church north of Hampton.
He worked as a hired farm hand and then farmed as a tenant farmer in Hamilton County. In 1962, he bought his own farm near Marquette and raised cattle. He retired 5 years ago.
As a child Vic was confirmed at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton, and at the time of his death was a member of the Aurora First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Roy and Harold; 2 sisters, Bernice Pohl and Maxine MacMaster and one grandchild.
Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Alma; one son Ed of Marquette; 2 daughters, LaVerda Miller of Aurora and Geraldine Welsh of Brule, Nebraska; one sister Eunice "Judy" Titman of Grand Island; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
