CORINTH - Etoy Bogue Walker, 89, died Friday, March 13, 2009, in Corinth. She was a member of West Corinth Baptist Church for 58 years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and needlework, but most of all she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at West Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold King and the Rev. Jacky Ward officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park. McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Walker (Doris) of Corinth and Rickey Walker (Nancy) of Ashdown, Ark.; one daughter, Kay Luna (Jimmy) of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; her grandchildren, Charles Walker, Larry Walker, Bill Luna, Lynn Farris, Catrece Wileman, Cole Gordon and Cherlyn Oakman; seven great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee R. and Etta Hudson Bogue; her husband, K.C. Walker; three sisters, Louise Bogue, Leatrice Bogue and Elaine Powell; one brother, Robert Bogue; and one grandson, Kasey Walker.

Pallbearers will be Jon Farris, Travis Wilemon, Jeromy Oakman, Charles Walker, Larry Walker and Bill Luna.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of West Corinth Baptist Church and the staff of the Mississippi Care Center.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
