FINAL RITES HELD FOR MRS. WERNER
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Eva Mathes, 92, who died early Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Werner, Long st. She had been ill for the past two years.
Mrs. Mathes was born in Germany but has been a resident of Amherst for 65 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Reformed church.
In addition to Mrs. Werner, she is survived by a son, Henry Zimmerman, Cleveland Heights, and one sister, Mrs. Augusta Helrem, Cleveland, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Rev. C. E. Schmidt officiated at the final rites with burial in the Cleveland-st cemetery.
