George Ackermann was born in Prussia (now Germany).

He married Martha Gaybouer abt 1842.

George died in North Amherst (now Amherst), Lorain Co., OH.

NOTE: In the 1880 U.S. Federal Census, George's occupation was listed as "Sick (Consumption)".
