Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 28, 1987 at St. John's Lutheran Church at Kronborg. Interment was held in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Agnes Andersen

Agnes I. Andersen, the daughter of Carl and Elisa (Hansen) Jensen, was born at Marquette, Nebraska, on August 31, 1901, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 25, 1987, at the age of 86 years, 3 months, and 24 days.

She attended country school and also one year at Marquette.

On June 22, 1921, she was united in marriage to Aage Andersen at Kronborg. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1985.

They farmed, and in 1946, they moved into Marquette, where she lived until 6 months ago when she moved into the Colonial Corners in Aurora and later to the Hamilton Manor.

Agnes was a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Kronborg, and was active in the church and ladies aid. She taught Sunday School and was Sunday School Superintendent for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, and 4 brothers, Einar, William, George, and Hans O. Jensen; 5 sisters, Anna Scott, Elsie Johnson, Astrid Stephans, Dagny Paulsen and one in infancy.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her two sons, Ivan Andersen of Marquette and Bishop Harry S. Andersen of Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin; one brother Carl Bernard Jensen of Marquette; 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
