Donna Jean Hammett Burnett, 62, died Wednesday February 11, 2009.
A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of Harry L. Hammett and Willie Mae White Hammett of Duncan.
She graduated from James F. Byrnes High, retired from Springs Industries and a member of Lake Cooley Baptist Church.
A beloved mother, sister, and aunt she is survived by her son Robert (Robbie) Michael Burnett and grandson Alton Michael (Mikey) Burnett of Duncan. A sister and her husband, Janice H. and Jerry Revis of Travelers Rest, a sister and her partner Dee H. Keffer and Mike Treece of Lyman, a nephew and his fiancé Johnathan Colin Cantrell and Lindsay Elliot of Piedmont, a niece and her partner Carlee K. Groomes and Brandon Bright of Lyman, a great niece Abigail Rose Cantrell of Evans Mills, NY and a great niece Mia Isabella Bright of Lyman.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, February 13 at Lake Cooley Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Joe White and the Rev. Donnan Lawson.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
