October 17, 1997; beloved husband of Dorothy Ida (nee Anger) Dunbar; dearest father of Nancy McGuane, Margaret (Ronald) Smith, Gary Dunbar and Kathleen (Michael) Negroni; devoted grandfather of six grandchildren including the late Deanne Sperduto; and two great-grandsons; brother of Mary (Edward) Hall, Kathleen (late James) Chapman and the late Dolores (Frank) Lukacovic and Harriet (Edward) Bialkowski.

He and Dorothy were married on May 31, 1947.

John was a World War II veteran, a member of the American Legion #735, also the Harvey D. Moran Post and Teamsters Local #375. Arrangements by the Urban-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 1024 French Road.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 115 O'Connell St. Flowers gratefully declined.
