Born July 22, 1911, in Burlington, Iowa, to John and Louise Freeman Newcomb, she married Vaun Cochran on July 22, 1946, in Burlington. He died Jan. 13, 1978.
She also was preceded in death by one grandchild, two brothers and six sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Lawrence Wooster of Annapolis, Md., and Michael Wooster of Wee-Ma-Tuk Hills; three daughters, Shirley Rauch of Canton, Ruth Johnson of Longview, Texas, and Mable Hake of Peoria; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was a pie maker for Kitchen Made Pies in Peoria before retiring.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Arthur Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
