Maria Amezquita, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday at a local hospital. She was born April 26, 1942, in Mexico. She was a resident of 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Baudelio Amezquita of Las Vegas; two daughters. Araceli Espinoza of Las Vegas and Rosina Ramirez of Modesto, Calif.; three sons, Javier Amezquita, Victor H. Amezquita and Fermin Amezquita, all of Las Vegas; five sisters, Dolores Marquez, Bertha Marquez and Guadalupe Marquez, all of Mexico, Esther Marquez of Union City, Calif., and Rufina Hernandez of Las Vegas; three brothers, Jose Marques of Union City, Arturo Marquez of Las Vegas and Maurilio Marquez of Mexico; and six grandchildren. Visitation will continue until 5 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 6 p.m. today at the same location. Another service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Christopher's Catholic Church.
