Mrs. A. L. Coggins Dies At Sandy Ridge Home
Mrs. A. L. Coggins, age 67 years, died at her home in the Sandy Ridge community on Sunday, August 1st, following an illness of about four weeks. The deceased was a part of the Sandy Ridge community, living a long and useful life in that com' munity. She .was a member of the Sandy Ridge Methodist church and had been active in its affairs. Funeral services were held from the Sandy Ridge church with Rev. L. H. Spradley, pastor, being the officiating minister. J. E. Cutler, LaFayette undertaker, was in charge of the funeral plans. Interment was in the Sandy Ridge cemetery. Surviving are a husband, A. L. Coggins., and six children, C. B. Coggins, LaFayette; Mrs. W. L. Downs, Birmingham; W. D. Cog' gins, LaFayette; Mrs. J. D. Allen, Lanett; N. E. Coggins, Roanoke, and A. J. Coggins, Lincoln, and two sisters. Mrs. J. T. Thomas, LaFayette, and Mrs. T. J. Stringfellow.
