Clarice (Adams) Daum, 64, of 1721 Ave. D., Ft. Madison, died Saturday afternoon, Jan. 24, 1981 at Ft. Madison Community hospital.
She was born June 28, 1916 at Bonaparte.
Mrs. Daum taught at Richardson school here the past 10 years and was a member of the local, state and national education associations, Reading Teachers Ass'n. Of Iowa and the American Ass'n. Of University Women.
Surviving: her father, Thomas Gardner, Boulder, Colo.; mother, Mrs. Bessie May Gardner, Burlington; two sons, Robert F. Adams, Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Derksen, Colorado Springs, Clo.; two brothers, Robert L. Gardner, Long Beach, Calif., Delbert R. Gardner, San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the King-Lynk Funeral Home in Ft. Madison, with the Rev. Jerry Wells officiating. Burial was in Bonaparte Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
