Robin Elizabeth Hickman, local resident of Owasso, Oklahoma, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, at the age of 41 years. She was born Nov. 17, 1963, at Danville, Illinois, to Sidney and Janet (Layden) Payne.
She completed her secondary education in Oxford, Indiana, graduating from the Benton Central High School Class of 1982. She continued her education at Purdue University graduating with a BA in Retail Management.
She was married Dec. 27, 1986, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Robert Hickman.
She spent most of her working life as a sales associate with Standard Register in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She had made her home in Owasso since November 1991. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including running and most of all her children.
Loving family members include: Her husband, Robert, of the home; two sons: Grant Robert Hickman, Alex James Hickman, both of the home. Two brothers and sister-in-laws, Timothy and Cindy Payne of Oxford, Indiana, and Todd and Danielle Payne of Oxford, Indiana. One sister and brother-in-law: Loribeth and Jeff Hettinger of Remington, Indiana Parents: Sidney and Janet Payne of Fowler, Indiana. Grandmother, Betty Layden, Hoopeston, Illinois, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
