Dale Blaine Barngrover, 83, died Nov. 18, 2002, in Apple Valley. Born in Furnace County, Neb., he lived in Victorville for six years. He worked for Tucson Unified School District as a crossing guard for six years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, traveling and sports.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Norma of Victorville; son and daughter-in-law Randy and Kathleen of Apple Valley; grandson Matthew, who is in the U.S. Navy and stationed in Norfolk, Va.; granddaughter Seonaid, who is attending Victor Valley College; and grandson Nikolaus, who attends Apple Valley High School.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Victor Valley Mortuary Chapel. Donations may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital, 3160 Geneva St., Los Angeles, CA 90020. The hospital can be reached at (213) 388-3151. Victor Valley Mortuary is handling arrangements.
