Samuel Lybarger, 68 years old, 50 years a resident of De Soto township, was found dead at 5:10 p.m. Monday, shortly after he had gone out to milk the cows, says the Independent. The body was found near the milk bucket by E. B. Young, a farmer residing across the public road from the Lybargers. Dr. House of De Soto was called. He recognized at once the tell-tale marks of apoplexy and pronounced death due to that cause.

The deceased leaves a big family. The boys are Henry, John, Will, Goerge and Oliver. The four girls are all married. The stepchildren are Henry and Effie Griffin and Mrs. Joe Nausley.

Mr. Lybarger was one of the best known and established farmers in the county. He was a member of the Central M. E. Church. Funeral rites will be conducted at the church.
