Jean was predeceased by her husband, Nils Anderson, Jr.; and her son, Nils Anderson III.
She is survived by her three sons, Derby F. Anderson of Southport, Stephens M. Anderson of Longmont, Colo., Ward R. Anderson of Annapolis, Md.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Jean's memorial service was held in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 651 Pequot Avenue, Southport on Friday, March 13, 2009. Her interment will be private in Stanwich Congregational Cemetery.
The family would prefer memorial contributions made to: Trinity Episcopal Church, P. O. Box 400, Southport, CT 06890. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, of Fairfield Center.
