Memorial services for Carl B. Kennedy of Gassville, Arkansas, will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2006, at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Moon officiating. Mr. Kennedy died Wednesday, October 11, 2006.

Carl B. Kennedy was born November 23, 1925, at Dodson, Louisiana, to Clady and Dena Walsworth Kennedy. He worked as a troubleshooter for Freightline Trucking Company for 30 years. He lived in Gassville, moving from Shreveport, Louisiana, in 1989. He was a member of the Gassville Baptist Church, former member of the Midway Baptist Church, and a former member of the Lion's Club of Shreveport. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Gassville Nursing Center and staff for their loving care.

Mr. Kennedy is survived by Chlo Kennedy, wife of 37 years, of Mountain Home; two sons, Jerry Kennedy of Houma, Louisiana, and Danny Kennedy of Titusville, Florida; one daughter, Gale (Tommy) Digilormo of Shreveport, Louisiana; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Burial will be private.
