Graveside funeral services for Matthew Rush, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Bertis R. Rush of Winnfield, were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 17, in the Cypress Creek Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Haley officiating.
The infant died within a few hours after birth Friday, in the Rapides Parish Hospital in Alexandria.
Survivors in addition to his parents include; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jones of Winnfield; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Rush of Zwolle.
