SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. LYDIA WHYTE
Final services for Mrs. Lydia P. Whyte, 60, who had resided at 541 West street, were held on Monday afternoon at the Emmerich Funeral Home with the Rev. Guy Moyer officiating. Mrs. Whyte died in the Amherst Hospital where she had been a patient one day. She had been suffering from a heart ailment.
Born in Chillicothe, she had lived in Lorain and South Amherst before moving to Amherst. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Jack Donahue, Kingston, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Earl Raesler, Amherst; four grandchildren, and two brothers, Jess W. Cassidy and Robert C. Cassidy, both of Vermilion. Her husband, James M. Whyte, died in 1946.
Burial was made in Crownhill cemetery.
