A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Scott Funeral Home, Cambridge, for Christine M. Selby 78 of Cambridge who died Sunday (Oct 19, 2003) at Genesis-Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville. Pastor Beth Stillwagon will officiate. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born Sept. 1, 1925 in Franklin, N.C. daughter of the late Steve and Emma Lou (Bates) Stockton. Mrs. Selby was a member of the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was precedd in death by her husband, Charles E. Selby, on Feb. 15, 1982, two granddaughters, Emily and Amanda Hickenbottom; a brother and three sisters. She leaves two sons, Frank C.(Carol) Selby of Cambridge and Bryan E. (Brenda) Selby of Byesvile; two daughters, Mrs. John (Kay Lynn) Hickenbottom of Kipling and Joan Lee Spohn and Andy Miller of New Concord; eight grandchildren. Jennifer, Timothy and Zackery Selby, Jason Hammonds, Daniel and Scott Spohn, John Tyler Hickenbottom and Joshua Selby; three step-grandchildren, Rocky, Raymond and Robin Mathers; a brother-in-law, Gaye Surrett of Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.
