Mrs. Aston was born on September 17, 1918, in Altoga, Texas, to Jack and Nell Airhart. She grew up in the Collin County area and attended schools in Melissa, where she played on the high school basketball team. She married Aaron Raymond Aston on July 27, 1938, in Blue Ridge, Texas. They moved to Lockney in 1942. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Lockney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Aston of Lubbock and Bill Aston and wife Brenda of Harlingen; one brother, Dick Airhart; five grandchildren, Andrew William Aston and wife Janice of San Antonio, Aaron Courtney Aston and wife Stephanie of San Antonio, Lacey Winn Jobe and husband Taylor of El Paso, Brittany Aaron Aston of Lubbock, and Avery M'Kay Aston of Oxford, MS; and seven great-grandchildren.
