Willa Mae Parker "Mommae" entered eternal life on March 6, 2009.
Daughter of the late Hazel Brown and Emma Belt, she was born December 25, 1919 in Rock Hill, SC, where she was educated in the public schools.
She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, its Choir and Nurses Ministries. Retired from Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, she enjoyed watching television and Tyler Perry's Character, "Madea."
The widow of Frank Allen Parker, she was also predeceased by daughter, Mildred E. Williams and grandson, Bruce Allen Williams. She leaves to cherish and honor her legacy granddaughters, Anna Maria Williams, Jody Burnett; grandson, Keenan E. Williams; great-granddaughters, Tashi Ulen, Tywila Adams, Christina Carden; great-grandsons, Christopher Michael Williams, Keenan E. Williams, Jr., Tylee Williams, all of Harrisburg, and Christopher Michael Williams of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Sammy Brown of Rock Hill, Odell Brown of Harrisburg; sister, Hilton Brown; niece, Martha Walker; sister-in-law, Margaret Wiley, all of Rock Hill; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at noon, Friday, March 13th, at her church, 100 Livingston Street, Steelton, with viewing from 11 a.m. to noon. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
