Rosa B. Fettig, 91, formerly of 411 Grove St., died at 7 a.m. Saturday at Warren Methodist Home, Warren. Born March 28,1903, in Huntington County, she was the daughter of Frank T. and Florence Weller Eviston. On Sept. 11, 1937, she was married in Logansport
to Frank Fettig, who died July 10,1965. Mrs. Fettig, a retired teacher, had taught in Wabash County and at elementary schools in Logansport. She was a member of the Retired Teachers, Cass County Retired Teachers, National Retired Teachers, and the Indiana State Retired Teachers associations and the National Education Association.
A member of First United Methodist Church, she also was a former member of the New Life Guild and the Logansport Rose Society. Mrs. Fettig attended Manchester College.
Surviving are four nephews, Ben Ervin, Muncie, David L. Ervin and Robert Eviston, both of Wabash, and Thomas McCormick, Denver, Colo.; and five nieces, Bonnie Fearnow, Somerset, Kathleen Weber, Huntington, Nina Frank, Wabash, Miriam Shaffer, LaFontaine, and Jeanette Howard, Lincolnville. Three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Kroeger Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Weeks officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Friends may call two hours before services Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.
