Brenda Jean Beard was born February 17, 1951 in Dallas, TX to the late Virginia (Yarbrough) Burk, and died Friday, March 6, 2009 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Huntington First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Hubert Beard, Jr. of Huntington; daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Brandon Stephens of Arlington, Dedra and Matt Cook of Huntington, and Pam Minor and Donny Granger of Houston; grandchildren, Gabby, Garrett, Devin and Ashley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hubert, Sr. and Betty Beard of Huntington; and numerous other relatives. Graveside services and interment was on March 9, 2009.
