FLORESVILLE, Texas - Karen L. Berry, born on December 13, 1936, went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2009, at the age of 72.

Karen attended St. Pete High in St. Petersburg, Fl., and graduated in 1956. She traveled with her husband Jerry while he was enlisted in the United States Air Force. She worked for Montgomery Ward for 14 years and later for the Bank of America for 13 years. Karen was a member of American Legion Womens Auxiliary Post 38.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Berry; sister, Jean Syndor; and brother, Ted Campbell.

Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Jerry Lee Berry; daughters, Janet Gimbel (husband, Ron) and Pam Gantt (husband, Rick); siblings, Wanda (husband, Ronald) Berg, Lois Geary, Bill (wife, Ruth) Campbell, Donnie (wife, Linda) Campbell, Paul (wife, Denise) Page, and Carol (husband, Jim) Wolf; grandchildren, Allen Isbell (wife, Mandie), Jerry Isbell, Nicki and Adam Gantt; great-grandchildren, Angelina, Bryon, Brittney, Bailey, and Brandon.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345 or Nurses in Touch Hospice at 1815 Tenth St. Floresville, TX 78114

Services

Visitation will begin on Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
