Services for Arthur Leon Boyette, age 89, are 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Clark Funeral Home. Elder Thad Marshall will officiate with interment to follow in Gainey Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Boyette died Monday, March 09, 2009, at Camellia Gardens in Thomasville, GA.
Pallbearers will be Bob Harrison, Robert Harrison, Carl Harrison, Robert Porter, Marcus Smith and Ronald Boyette.
Born, October 26, 1919, in Grady County, he was the son of the late Robert Monroe "Bob" Boyette and Emma Lou Lowe Boyette.
He was married to Willie Green Lee Boyette who preceded him in death on February 2, 2007 and Jeanette M. Boyette, who preceded him in death on July 6, 2008. He was a retired farmer and member of Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include: sister-in-law, Jeanette Lee Harrison; nieces and nephews, Robert M. Porter, Linda Porter Curles, Ronald A. Boyette, GA, Rita Boyette Smith, Rhonda Boyette English, Evelyn Boyette Davis of Lithia Springs, GA, Shirley Boyette Pritchett, Robert Harrison, Carl Harrison, Ruth Harrison of Jesup, GA, Walter Edwin Maxwell and Emma Lois Conner.
Clark Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
