Rushville - (Special) - Services will be held at Buena Vista at 10 a.m. Saturday for Mrs. Tilden French, 71, who died at Corydon, Wednesday. Survivors include a daughter, one sister and one brother. She was a member of the Buena Vista Christian Church.

Local Woman's Mother Dies
Rites for Mrs. French To Be Held Here Saturday
Mrs. Bertha Iona French, mother of Mrs. Hazel Young of this city, died Wednesday evening at 6:00 o'clock at the home of a son, Arnold French near DePauw, Ind. She was 70 years of age and had been ill for a long period of time.
Mrs. French was a native of Franklin county and was the widow of Tilden French. Surviving with the son at whose home she died and the daughter here are another son, Lloyd R. French of Underwood; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one sister and one brother, Mrs. Bernie Pruet of Rushville and John Croddy of Clarksburg.
The body will be brought to the home of Mrs. Young at 742 S. West St. Friday night and funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Buena Vista Christian Church. Burial will be made in the Stipps Hill cemetery.
