Mrs. Coulter Dies At 95
MAYFIELD, Ky., Dec. 1 - Mrs Hester Coulter, 95, widow of Gus G. Coulter, died Friday night at her home in New Orleans, La.
She was a native of Graves County, and was a granddaughter of John Anderson, one of the first settlers of the county. Her husband was state auditor under the administrations of Gov. William Goebel and Gov. J. C. W, Beckham.
Mrs. Coulter moved' from Graves County about 40 years ago. She is survived by one son, Claude Coulter, Biloxi, La; three daughters, Mrs. Jack Gray, Biloxi, Mrs. Henry Hosford and Miss Augusta Coulter; New Orleans.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Byrn Funeral Home here with the Rev. James M. Gilbert Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home late Sunday afternoon.
