Evelyn Virginia Kendall, age 83, of Webster, died Thursday, February 26, 2009, at her residence. She was born September 24, 1925, in Richmond to Samuel S. and Ruby Rich Culbertson and was a lifelong resident of Wayne County. Evelyn was a former employee of the Richmond Baking Co. and was the treasurer of the Webster Cemetery Association. She was a member of New Garden Friends Meeting and president of Women's Society of New Garden Friends Meeting. Evelyn recently attended Christ United Church

Survivors include her daughters, Sherry Dickerson and her husband Ray and Vickie Greene and her husband Kenneth, both of Centerville; sons, Dwight Kendall of Webster, Larry Kendall of Fountain City and Keith Kendall and his wife Robin of Richmond; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchild; brother, Nelson Culbertson of Covington, Ky., and sisters, Joan Rowe of Centerville and Velma Howell of Portland, Ind.; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert C. Kendall who died in 2003; daughter-in-law, Clara Kendall; one brother and three sisters.

Visitation for Evelyn V. Kendall will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2009, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2009, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Brett Karanovich officiating. Burial will be in Webster Cemetery.
