Mildred Allred "Millie" Our beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother passed away peacefully on March 7, 2009. Mother was born August 10, 1916 in Cove, Utah to Ephraim and Inez Barnes. She married Melvin Burk Allred April 28, 1941. Mom worked at Auerbachs Department store for 20 years. She also enjoyed doing ceramics and working in her garden at home. Mother and Dad spent their golden years in Arizona with family and friends. "Millie", as she was called, is survived by three daughters: Jean (Jerome) Kimbrell, North Salt Lake, UT; Connie (Larry) Smith, West Valley City, UT; Kaye Brown, Las Vegas, NV; one sister and one brother; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grand-children, and eight great-great grandchildren. Millie is preceded in death by her husband, Mel, and grandson Larry; five sisters, and one brother. Mother will be deeply missed by all. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at 1:00 p.m., Lakeview Memorial Park, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon, at Deseret Mortuary, 36 E. 700 S., Salt Lake.
