PERU--Mrs. Tiney Cotner, 89, of 429 Adams Ave., Peru, died at 3 a.m. Wednesday at her home.
Born Sept. 22, 1885, in Holland, she was the daughter of Sam and Anna Van Long Marchand. She was married in 1915 to Charles E. Cotner, who died in 1934. A member of the Market Street United Methodist Church in Logansport, she came to Peru in 1960 from Lewisburg.
Survivors include a son, Walter, Peru; a daughter, Alma Kilgas, Logansport; four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Wirth, Mrs. Agnes Lyons and Mrs. Jennie Hopple, all of Logansport, and Mrs. Lena Isgrigg, Hammond; three grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Eikenberry-Eddy funeral home, the Rev. Kenneth Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Logansport's Mt. Hope cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
