Andrew J. King, 91, died in Cole Hospital, Champaign on January 16, 1967. Funeral services were held at Stensel Funeral Home with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
He was born August 27, 1875, on a farm south of Farmer City to William C. and Sarah Alexander King. He married Clarabelle Reeser February 8, 1905 at Farmer City. She died April 11, 1966. He was a lifelong resident of the South Prairie community. Surviving are a daughter, Marguerite (Bryan) Brubaker, Champaign; a son, Floyd, Farmer City; a foster daughter, Mrs. Esther Hollon LeMessurier, Columbus OH; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Casket bearers were Lyle Niklaus, Edwin Jordan, Orville Freeland, Lyle Halcomb, Louis Foltz and Harold Overmeyer.
