Mrs. Hester Nigh, 84 years old, mother of Sheriff George Nigh of this city, died this afternoon at her home in Hanover township, after a serious illness of three weeks. She had been in poor health for a long time.
Mrs. Nigh had spent every year of her life in Shelby county. Alonzo Nigh, of Hanover township, James Nigh, of Sugar Creek township, Lewis Nigh, of Hanover township, Mrs. Ella Pitts of Hanover township, and Sheriff Nigh are the surviving children.
